RESULTS! 2016 Artist in Residence!

On behalf of the Durham Art Guild and the 2016 Artist in Residence jury panel, thank you to all the applicants for sharing your work and your aspirations with us. There were 25 applications and they were highly competitive and diverse which was very exciting and also very challenging.
 

CALL FOR PROPOSALS: 2016 Artist in Residence Program

The 2016 Artist in Residence Program will provide professional studio space at Golden Belt Artist Studios, a stipend, regular support from and access to DAG’s professional resources and networks, and an exhibition in Room 100 Gallery at Golden Belt for one selected artist this year.

 

Seeking local art for SWING INTO SPRING celebration fundraiser!

The Durham Art Guild (DAG) seeks artwork donations from its valued and talented members and other community artists for our upcoming celebration fundraiser. This year's Swing into Spring artwork will be on view in SunTrust Gallery March 18 – April 1 leading up to the gala.4 donating artists will be selected as featured artists by a guest judge and these artists will each receive a special package including artist-friendly goodies and DAG perks.

2016 Exhibition Calendar Announced for SunTrust Gallery and Room 100 Gallery

About the Triangle Community Artists Gallery partnership:
The Durham Art Guild and Triangle Community Foundation are excited to continue a partnership that brings a local, curated art gallery to the Foundation’s offices currently located in the American Tobacco campus.

CALL FOR ART: RTP Employee Art Exhibition

The Research Triangle Foundation (“RTF”) has partnered with Triangle ArtWorks on the first annual RTP Employee Art Exhibition. The show will be held at The Frontier, from February 11 to March 11, 2016 and will showcase art created by employees across Research Triangle Park. In an effort to elevate the show, they will have Dr. Larry Wheeler, Director of the North Carolina Museum of Art, serving as the sole juror. There will also be cash prizes awarded to top entries.
